What you should be doing is deciding on what your very long term goals are, and working you way towards that. You will eventually stray away from it and become less consistent. After Christmas, what will you do? Keep doing t25? Keep weightlifting? Will you enjoy either one? Don't stick with a workout if you don't like it because there is definitely more than one way to get in shape. By Christmas you might lose some body fat and get into what you consider good shape if you do t25 and you might gain some fat but also gain muscle if you do weightlifting. Lets say you decide to do weightlifting rather than p90x or this t25 stuff, and lets also pretend that you're 5'11" and 180. Now, I don't know how out of shape you are, therefore I cannot give you some timeline for how long It will take to "look good." What I can tell you, is that the absolute most effective exercise is the kind that you can stick with for a long time. Do you like climbing? Biking? Martial Arts? All of those things can get you in great shape. That being said, you need to find something that you enjoy that also allows yourself to get into shape.
